Bred by P Goedt (Netherlands, 1908).
Class:
Large-flowered, Mid-season.  
Bloom:
Lavender and crimson.  6 to 7 petals.  Average diameter 8".  Single, grooved, notched, overlapping bloom form.  Late spring to midsummer.  
Habit:

Height: 6' to 8' (185 to 245cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 9b.  Suitable for growing in a container.  sun or shade.  It blooms on the previous year's growth, so resist the urge to prune it in early spring.  In early spring, cut back to just above the lowest set of healthy buds.
